Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Fresno is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Ice Cream was very good. Hubby got a 2 scoop sundae and I got a 2 scoop waffle cone. I'll get 1 scoop next time because I couldn't finish the 2 scoops. It was nice and quiet on a Friday afternoon and I might actually try an espresso beverage next time.

It’s been a while since my family has come here, we loved how clean and professional they were so we decided to come on back for a summer treat on a hot day. Upon arrival we had to wait for a couple of teenagers working behind the counter who clearly were too busy sitting and talking to welcome us in. The windows were covered in dried ice cream and handprints. The counters were very dirty looking like it hadn’t been wiped after the last customers. We wanted to order a chocolate sprinkle sugar cone but they were completely out of that one as well as most of the others. The ice cream was still good, but the store quality and customer service was less than great. These guys use to be on top of their game, not sure what happened!

I recently made a stop at a local ice cream shop. Previously a Baskins Robbins, the ice cream shop named Scoops has been open for a little over a year now and I was excited to finally check it out. I had gone once before when it was a Baskins Robbins and it definitely looked like it has seen better days. This new place is so amazing. The worker at the time happened to be the owner himself. Young, stylish and quick to put his business degree to work, (we chatted) the place looked like a trendy hot spot in LA. I picked a scoop of the Curious George, banana flavored ice cream with Nila Wafers and marshmallow. Worth. Every. Bite. Check out this young, fresh spot.

First time at Scoops Ice cream. We had Pistachios almond, mint chip and cookies and cream all 3 flavors were really good. Really good atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Such a fun place and totally different from other places in town! Gives a city vibe yet with a cozy, warm feel at the same time. Staff is friendly, owner is so kind and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, and the ice cream… just amazing! So many options to choose from with 4 flavors that switch out month to month. They even have vegan options (which was my favorite this round - the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie)! It was very nice to have an indoor seating area as even in this freezing weather, we were able to enjoy our ice cream! Such a plus. P.S. totally dog approved as my dog loved the ScooPup🐢🍦UPDATE! Took my pup there yesterday for a treat and he LOVED it! Highly recommend and will be adding this to my weekly dessert outing!
